Give Miami Day 2019

November 21, 2019

Miami Light Project will be participating on Give Miami Day, which is the biggest annual giving event in South Florida. The Miami Foundation, Knight Foundation and their partners will maximize the community’s generosity by making a bonus gift for every donation between $25 and $10,000 received on November 21 through givemiamiday.org.

For twenty-four hours you can support Miami Light Project.

Our goal is to raise over $20,000 and with your help on November 21, we can achieve it! Your support will enable Miami Light Project to continue bringing the most exciting contemporary dance, music and theater from around the world to our community; and play a leadership role in the development of new work by Miami-based artists.

ABOUT THE MIAMI FOUNDATION

The Miami Foundation provides civic leadership, bringing stakeholders together to tackle issues of concern in our community. Working together with our Fundholders and community partners, we leverage collective knowledge, creativity and resources for a greater impact than any one of us could make alone. By connecting philanthropy with community needs and opportunities, we make Miami a greater place to live, work and play. Established in 1967, The Miami Foundation, formerly the Dade Community Foundation, has helped hundreds of people create personal, permanent and powerful legacies by establishing custom, charitable Funds. With our expertise, Fundholders have fostered the arts, awarded scholarships, championed diversity, taught kids to read, provided food and shelter for the hungry and homeless, and more.
